Joseph Roberts Fundraising Items needed

Dear Royals Families –

Joseph Roberts, a long time Royals player and family member, is in need of a lung transplant.  Joseph has cystic fibrosis, a chronic disease that primarily affects the lungs and causes chronic lung infections. These infections lead to permanent lung damage over time and there currently is no cure for CF.

The lung transplant team at UNC estimates the cost of his transplant to be $350,000 for the first year after transplant.

The Royals are putting together several fundraising events to help raise money for Joseph’s transplant (more information to come).  We are looking for items that we can include in a raffle and a possible silent auction.

If your family, your business or a neighbor’s business has something you would be willing to donate for the raffle or auction, please contact Leslie Dolliver – lgdolliver@aol.com.   

Be creative and don’t worry about the value.  We can package up smaller items.
