The Royals began the tournament on Saturday by playing the Bristol Blazers. After a very physical game, the end result was a 3 to 3 tie. Sunday the Royals played the Warwick Wildcats resulting in a 1 to 1 tie and then played the Exton Kings for a 6 to ... The Royals began the tournament on Saturday by playing the Bristol Blazers. After a very physical game, the end result was a 3 to 3 tie. Sunday the Royals played the Warwick Wildcats resulting in a 1 to 1 tie and then played the Exton Kings for a 6 to 0 win, which secured their spot in the semi-finals.
Monday morning they once again played the Bristol Blazers and it proved to be another physical, aggressive game. The Royals pulled out a 3 to 2 win in overtime, which allowed them to advance to the finals. The Royals met up with the Igloo Jaguars for the Championship Game and secured the Gold medal with a 2 to 1 win!
Way to go Royals!
